Five Things I Learned About Tarot

I was nominated by Pedro Andre of Petrus Tarot to talk about five things I’ve learned about Tarot. This is part of the #5thingsilearnedabouttarot Instagram challenge hosted by Sarah of The Curious Cardslinger.

1.) Tarot is like a good friend that you grow closer and closer to. The more time and energy you invest in learning its ways, the more about you it reveals.

2.) And like a good friend, it takes time to get to know Tarot. It’s okay if you don’t immediately get what a card means. There are certain cards that have taken me years to understand.

3.) Tarot cards can pop up outside of your readings when you least expect it. Like when you show up to a restaurant and there’s a big wooden wheel propped up in the waiting area. Or when you see a photo of a man dangling upside down from his feet at the art museum.

4.) You don’t need to be psychic to be a good Tarot reader, but working with Tarot will strengthen your intuitive and psychic gifts.

5.) And if you want to hear what your intuition has to say, stop thinking. Too much thinking will ruin a perfectly good Tarot reading.
